Science research result

The college has made lots of achievements in research due to the diligent and innovative work of our faculties and researchers since 1995. The college has completed or been working on 300 projects, including one National High Technology Research and Development Program (“863” Program), nine projects supported by national foundation, 153 projects supported by government agencies and local Province. The total research funding amounts to over 36 millions yuan RMB. Our faculties and researchers have written 37 academic books, authored and co-authored over 1,500 papers in referred scientific journals (more than 200 papers are in SCI,EI and ISTP). 26 patents have been awarded to the college. Over 50 millions yuan RMB has been profited from the transferring of 38 technologies to industries. The research and education in this college has been recognized nationally by obtaining various renowned scientific and technological awards including one Third-Place National Scientific and Technological Advancement Prize, and 12 Scientific and Technological Advancement Prizes of Fujian Provinces and Government Agencies. The college has state-of –the-art facilities and equipments for achieving excellence in research and education. The total laboratory space is about 14,550 m2, including 11,050 m2 for the teaching of basic experiment, and 3,510 m2 for research. Along with the huge collections (more than 200 million volumes) in Fujian Normal University library, the college division library has a full collection spectrum of chemistry-related publications from paper-based periodicals/books to electronic databases.
